Bella Panic is an artist, lyricist, composer and music producer who has been recording and performing since the age of sixteen. Her first gig was in the Avalon Field of Glastonbury Festival in 2007.
In 2011, Bella performed under the stage name Sucker Twin. She released her first single “MUD” as a collaboration with her brother on You Love Her’s debut album, formerly known as You Love Her Coz She’s Dead (NME Award winners 2008 / Kitsune / SKINS / HBOs Girls).
She featured in various books about the underground electronic music scene in London (Wildblanket, 2012).
As a lyricist and vocalist for YLH she left the duo between 2009 and 2014. “NEVER GROW OLD” was their final collaboration released in 2015, but not before she headlined a tour across Switzerland and Russia in 2013 to great success.
Radio4Extra then included her in their Dystopian Playlist, alongside David Bowie and Kate Bush.
With influences such as Vangelis, Stina Nordenstam, Hiroshi Yoshimura, The Sugarcubes, Haruomi Hosono, Smashing Pumpkins, Screaming Females and Orbital.
The album was written on the Mendips during the pandemic by Bella Panic and is mixed and mastered in London by multi award-winner: Conor O’Brien. Conor has assisted in sound installations for Dave Stewart (Eurythmics) and multimedia artist Kevin Atherton, and has won numerous awards for his film scores.
